Christmas is my favorite time of year! It’s packed with so many fond childhood memories and associations. As a balloon artist I find that Christmas time is also my favorite balloon twisting season, not because it’s the busiest time for twisters (it’s not), but because it’s Jesus’ birthday, and because it’s just plain fun! I love Christmas balloons! The designs are so colorful, happy, and warm. This year we did a number of new designs. Some of these are our original designs and others we learned from other twisters, but this is what we did this Christmas!
Here are some of the basic twisting designs that we used at birthday and Christmas parties during the 2016 Christmas holiday season.

We made some Christmas tree balloon column decor for a Frozen themed birthday party. As you can imagine, we made LOTS of Elsa and Anna dolls for that one as well. We also made a polar bear with a snowflake flower bouquet that was given as a Christmas gift.
Do you wanna build a snowman? We did! Here is our snowman balloon art sculpture holding a bouquet of snowflake balloon flowers. He is a very happy snowman.
My favorite Christmas character growing up was the abominable snowman from the old Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer cartoon. I found a small design that I liked and took some ideas from that to inspire the large balloon art sculpture you see below. This guy stood just shy of five feet high from his toes to the top of his head.
We had a great time this Christmas! We wish Jesus a happy birthday and are grateful to Him for loving us and for changing our lives, and for those reading this post, may God bless you and keep you over this next year:) Merry Christmas!
